1987 toyota 22e starts for a second, floods cylinders with fuel, fills oil with fuel. Replace fuel pressure regulator with a new unit...still the same problem.
Please help...

Did you test that regulator before you replaced it?
Have you pulled inspected and tested the injectors?
How about the compression test?
Inspected the fuel return line to the gas tank?

three of the cylinders are flooded with fuel, a lot of fuel. Can a malfunctioning AFM create this problem?
