Front sway bar rubs front driveline

I have a 1989 Toyota 4x4 pickup that is lifted about 4 inches. I just replaced the trans with t-case. I am going to get some sway bar spacers to fix it but want to know if it is safe to drive it without the front sway bar till I get some.

i haven't had my sway bar on for 50k miles, and it's actually much smoother on road, more flex off-road, and less weight. no regrets in taking it off.

you'll have no problems

Overall, yeah, it's safe to drive. You may feel some affect from passing semis, crosswinds and such.

You may find it easier, or rather "smoother" to drive without the bar.

I pulled mine off years ago and never really noticed a difference in on-road driving. You'll be fine with out it.

Turns out that the frame mount for the front differential had broken off, bracket re-welded, problem solved. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.
