front lights

Its been well over a decade but I used rubber sockets like these in my corner lights to move my turn signals up when I ditched the stock bumper

I think all I did was drill the correct size hole and wire in the sockets because the stock bulbs were different but it has worked for many years.

That's a freaking cool idea. Personally I would use dual filament sockets (like the ones used in older dual-purpose bulbs, e.g., 1157 style). Just make sure the housing has enough room and can handle the slightly higher heat output. Rubber sockets as per the previous answer is a good route too. Wire one filament to the parking light circuit and the other to the turn signal circuit and you will be good.

I've modified housings to work like mentioned. On my current (never ending) build I bought a set of these awesome JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) lights from www.vintageteqparts.com . I just looked and they are no longer offered from him. Maybe check eBay???
