Front end noise...

I have a 94 pickup and everytime I back out of a spot or back into a spot and I am turning my wheel, I get noise coming from the front end. It kinda sounds like grinding and a pop every once in a while. I have looked underneath the truck and everything and cant find anything thats rubbing against each other to figure out the grinding noise. Any thoughts/help would be greatly appreciated.

Every old Toy I have had has steering limitations followed by that pop sound. The only way I have dealt with it is not to crank the wheel all the way to one side, give it a little slack.

Every Toyota truck and 4runner I've ever heard has that horrible noise. It's not always if you crank the wheel, but if you hit a bump and get the truck rocking side to side with the wheels turned a little bit. Mine sounds horrible and in the right area, echoes off of all the surrounding buildings. I get some weird looks from people.

I have a '92 that makes a squeaking noise in the suspension. Any ideas of what it is? I know about steering stops and it's not that. spraying lube on what parts I can access helps for a while but it always comes back and makes the truck sound like a hoopty.
