Is there some regular, or not so regular, maintanence items in the front end of these trucks? Like should I pull the wheel bearings and pack them once a year? Is there some parts that should be replaced avery twenty thou?

Write ups? Pictures? Regularity? I know if your driving in water and submerging the hubs you'd have to do it more regularly...

I searched but I couldn't find much info on this subject...

I'm not talking about the diff/cv/bjs etc...

I believe wheel bearings are supposed to be repacked every 30000 km (divide by 1.6 for miles)... but people let them go much further than that without problems. They are also supposed to be repacked after any incidence of being submerged.

Some ball joints have grease nipples on them, make sure you can push on the boots and feel the grease inside... if the boots are intact, these shouldn't need any service.

Front (and rear) driveshafts are supposed to get lubed every 24000km (or each year), or 12000km (or 6 months) in dry/dusty/severe conditions. DAILY in flooded conditions.

Beyond that, I'm not sure about front end maintenance. I replace parts when I hear them clunk or start to feel play.
