Are there any write ups on how to replace the front differential gasket? Not the seals that are on the sides that go to each wheel and not the on going to the front drive shaft. Mine is leaking between the differential and the cover (if that makes any sense) I did search guys only found things about replacing the other seals.

If you're talking about the seal behind the diff cover, all you should have to do is drain the old fluid, pull the cover off, scrape the old gasket off and put a bead of permatex around the cover then put it back on.

 

Do i just unbolt it from the frame and the remove the bolts holding the cover on? The bolt the frame is was was trowing me off. Thank you for the help

 

yes its pretty straight foward.. just clean it off really good before laying a new bead of gasket sealer down
