Fluid in rear brake drum
#21
Oil seals and possibly rear bearings. I just replaced both seals and bearings. My bearings were shot, and one of them passed gear oil through the seal.

Thanks for all the help. It ended up being the axle seals. I replaced them myself and had the bearings pressed out. It wasn't easy, but it was fairly straightforward. The worst part was trying to get the e brake cable back on. I didn't know that there are very few shops with the equipment to press rear wheel bearings for Toyotas.

A shop-press works very well at removing wheel bearings from toyota axle shafts and they're even better at putting them back on.
