First post, got a bad problem

My 91 truck with the 22re just decided to go nuts on me today. I put it in 4wd to get it out of some grass, moved it about 5 feet, and now the 4wd wont disengage and my truck wont move an inch. It feels like the clutch isn't grabbing at all. I'm really lost as to what to do so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are lucky, the transfer case just has a minor shifting problem. You might try taking the transfer case shifter off the case to see if it or the case is bound. Also, you may be able to shift it with the clutch partially engaged , as this applies some force to the unit and may free it.

Transfer cases are pretty trouble free, so I suspect the shifting mechanism.
