Well I just got back from my first camping trip. 400 mile round trip no problem. Truck pulls good from 3000 RPMs and up but kinda sluggish below that. Seems common enough for a 3.0

I got 21 MPG!!!! Hauling me, a friend, a load of wood, and all our camping stuff. I was very impressed with this.

Before the trip I changed from 5w-30 to 10w-40. My question is that I hear the valves, or what I think to be them, tapping. I know this has some injector ticking but it seems as though it is my valves. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good audio clip of a smooth running 3.0 with "normal" noises???
