Are Felpro HG and the accompanying gaskets and head bolts any good?

I likely have a HG replacement to do on my 94 22RE and the price on the Felpro gasket set and head bolts are pretty good. Is the quality good, or is it worth the extra $$$ for OEM parts?

Felpro makes a good product.

Don't know how it compares to the OEM.

Rock Auto has some decent stuff at great prices as well

i've used both Rock Auto headgaskets and Felpro headgaskets (felpro was on a different vehicle)

haven't had any troubles yet *knock on wood*

I have 20000 miles on Felpro headgaskets an bolts. No problems so far.

it really is a matter of opinion...I have always used Felpro and had had no problems.I currently have 2500 miles on felprohead gaskets

I have both in my '89 3.0, no issues, 13k miles since the rebuild.
