i havent had this truck long, but it hardly looks anything the way it did when i bought it a few weeks ago, since the truck is black i wanted to get rid of all the chrome, so far its looking good imo. the only things left to do is the licence plate/reverse light frame and put the front tube bumper on, i cant because i dont have the brackets for the bumper and cant get ahold of any metal to make my own anyways heres some pics

Looks good. I like the look of the black grill with the chrome bumper.

 

What kind of paint did you use...I'm blacking out the chrome on my '91 and the gravel and bugs are chipping away at my grill

 

i didnt use any special paint i just ued krylon fusion for plastic haha but it turned out just fine i used about 6 coats, i got a gloss paint and turned out i might not need to use a clearcoat, im not too fond of the chrome bumper with the black it resembles a pathfinder imo i dont know why lol
