exploded clutch...

So I let a friend borrow my truck over winter break, within a few days of her driving it the clutch shattered. The clutch was a Marlin crawler HD 1200lb hot momma. I pulled everything out and was doing it in the snow, it is 40F right now and sunny. Also the pressure plate was packed full of the shreds along with the bell housing.

Im doing the job right now, but I have to drop the flywheel off to get resurfaced. The orange thing is a heater that I have blowing under the truck with a tarp over the whole thing. Im just kinda ticked that she killed it, now no one is going to use my truck.

These clutches are great, I take care of it and never dump it or drive hard. I think she just over revved, dumped all the time, and rode the clutch.

I am sorry I have to ask is She blonde???

I am sure she is paying for the cost and your labor !!!

Well the deal was that she find me the shop space and its been a month, so i got sick of using my room mates car and towed it home and did the work. She doesn't have blonde hair, its black. I also don't want to think of the grinding gears, luckily it blew out after of her driving it for a few days. Other bad thing is that the cv boots got torn up when it was -50F. Gonna have to get some silicon ones to stop that from happening again.
