exhaust question

Actually I ended up accidentally slamming my exhaust on a rock and it bent the hanger upwards. I think it looks fine with my marlin bumper.
That may be an option for you is to just shorten the hanger and have the tailpipe sit up a bit higher.
The best pictures of it that I have at the moment.

My exhaust endeded up dumping onto my marlin bumper, so I cut off the old tailpipe, bought some cheap pipe from a local parts store, heated the pipes and bent up a new tailpipe. It exits straight out the back now.
I will post a picture when I get home.

You gotta keep in mind how much clearance you are gaining with the mc bumper. Just have it raised up in the same location. I've never had an issue with hitting mine on a rock since I put the bumper on.

x2.. most states it won't pass inspection on an suv if it does not come out behind the rear tire.

I thought about hitting the exhaust so I rigged it up so the tip ends about 2" from the farthest point of the bumper.
Worse comes to worse, my tip will get crushed if I really land on it. I can just unbolt it and run without, then buy a new one.
I wouldnt usually run such a big tip, but the sound it makes is amazing

Well. Actually, the drivers side bumpstop fell off about a year ago. I just have not had the time or drive to epoxy it back on. I have had it 100% stuffed and its all good
oh, btw.
The tip is a 16x 3" Boom tube. Any local muffler shop will have them, they are pretty popular with the mallcrawling fullsize boys. It gave my 3vz some extra growl
