Wink

Quite a few threads on this!!

It would all depend on your idea of hard.

Hanging the clutch pedal running the hard line.New Clutch Master and Slave cylinders.

Rear drive shaft might need to be changed if the length is different.

Merging the engine harness to vehicle harness. remembering to jumper the neutral safety switch or it will never crank.

cutting the hole in the transmission tunnel bigger to take both shifters.

A new Clutch kit and flywheel with new flywheel bolts

If you are going to all this trouble why not a 3.4 no doubt you have the 22re.

It really helps to have the parts vehicle there to save countless trips to auto parts stores and the used parts sources of your choice.

For the little parts that get lost or are never thought about like the pin that connects the master cylinder to the clutch pedal. The bracket where the hard and rubber line join above the slave cylinder etc.

Probably easier and cheaper to buy another truck with the set up you want. There are many hidden costs in all this potential work. I know many wheelers who prefer the auto tranny?

Since we are one the topic of Trans, 3.0's, 22R's, and the swapping thereof....

I have one 90 Runner 3.0 Auto and one 91 Runner 22R 5-speed (totaled truck). My question is: What manual trans bolts up to the 3.0? Is it possible to swap in the 5-speed from the 22R, or should I look for a manual trans (and ECU) from a 3.0/3.4 donor truck?
