ok what was that again?? im guessing that the dome light works and yet she wont start? headlights dont come on? radio?nothing that runs off the battery but the dome light???? well try to clean the terms and make sure there tight lol (mind out of gutter ....now) and use a test light go from the neg side of the battery and see if theres power at the power side ok good then work your way out see if there power at the power side term (at the battery) and go from there make sure your fuses all of power and check everything under the hood like the starter and then the silanoded (cant spell it) but the switched part on the starter and have someone turn the key if every things ok or you just dont have power at the switched part of the starter then try this go under the dash and see if your ing has power to begin with!!!! if not then check the main fuse under your hood it should be like a 40 amper or something like that not sure though hope it helps

What is the history on this vehicle and the problem?
Any symptoms leading up to this? Drive through deep water or leave it parked for an extended period of time?
Does the starter click or try to turn the motor over?

Hi! I'm fussin' with an 87 4runner, and I have determined that my "40 amper" is blown. Is there any simple way of removing this thing? The only way I can see to easily get to the bolts on the bottom is to remove the whole fuse holder from the fender so I can reach a tiny wrench down there! Is there a magic removal thing I can use or do?!!
Thanks!!
