88 p/u 3VZE.. just replaced a ground from block to master cylinder that was cut by previous owner for w.e. reason. also replaced jerry-rigged fuse box power supply wire and battery ground. added new ground off block. all wire used was 6gauge. when putting the wires back in the battery connector i put the wrong wire in the positive connector and the connector sparked and smoked when i placed it on the terminal. so switched them and bolted it all back together.. then tried starting it and the truck started then idled really low and would cut out if i didnt give it gas.. really crappy running and even a funny popping noise from engine (not backfire).. im scared i screwed somethin up real bad.. please help desperate newb!
