I am working on my header install for my 3.0L pu and came across a problem. My EGR valve has previously had it's crush nut welded on to the valve, making it impossible to remove flex piece of tubing to install the new one. I am going to attempt to grind it off now that the dealership has told me a new one will be $353 cad, but am still doubtfull that this will be successful (there must have been a reason why previous owner did this in first place). So now I am just curious what other years/models will have the same EGR valve set up as my 89 pu so i can start calling wreckers. thanx for any help
