EFI Short

EFI Short
This may be posted up already but this is my problem. I was driving on the Freeway and my EFI fuse just blew, luckily there wasn't any cars next to me and I made it to the side of the road. I removed the 15 amp fuse and installed another, as soon as I did it blew. So of course I knew it was a short. I got it towed home and I took a Dad's car to work for about 5 days and finally when I got the chance to look at it in the daylight, it turned on. It was really noisy at first like a bad belt but it stopped and I turned it on a few more times to check if it was a belt but the noise stopped. I didn't do a thing except put another 15 amp fuse to see if it would pop again and it didn't. Any idea what could've caused the short?

check to see if your o2 wire has burnt on your exhaust... Chances are it moved when towed and that is why it started up again....
Fairly common problem. Seen it a few times including on my own truck..
