Unhappy ecu clicking noise

89 22re 4x4 single cab truck.....So my check engine light is on ,, due to...Speedo sensor,, and TPS,, the truck runs fine,, no loss of power,or gas mileage,, but it dose idle rough at times,,I know I gotta just adjust the tps,, it's been like this for about 3 weeks,, But fir the pass 4-5 days I notice when I shift or sometimes when I'm coming to a stop I can hear clicking noise coming from my ecu, passager side,, it's not loud but it's noticeable,, lights don't dim out or nothing while it dose it,, it almost sounds like the ecu is turning on and off real fast,, about 3-5 clicks..in about 3 seconds,, anyone ever experience this before???

Red face

i am pretty sure unless you have a custom ecu there are no mechanical contacts moving in there.

most likely the circuit opening relay has a intermittent problem .

You may be hearing an efi relay or something. There's a few under the dash over there. I've never heard it while driving. Only on start up and shut off. But anythings possible.

Check your efi relay. It's to the right behind your glovebox.
