Ecu 3.0l

If i unplug my ECU is that bad?

If it's not on, no. If the ignition is on or engine running, more than likely yes, very bad.

now will a 94 ECU work on 90? because right now megasquirt is telling me no

Your truck won't start. Haha sorry had to...not sure which other ecus will work but a quick search should do the trick.
