ok guys i went to a gear shop today and they weren't too sure.... ok what i want to do is throw this e-locker from an '02 taco with 4:10's into my 94 that has 4:56's. now i plan on regearing but thats way way WAY down the road when i sas and throw some meats on her. i want the locker in for now with the gears i got now. will my 4:56's fit in the new third member? i mean will the ring and pinion that i have now fit into the new e-locker third member? and will the axle shafts fit into the new diff aswell? thank you very much guys. i've read a lot of e locker write ups including the infamous 4X4wire write up. i dont see why my 4:56's would just go right into the new diff but the shop made me feel otherwise. thanks a lot guys. have a good one

 

I don't think it'll work...
that page says the bolt patterns are different

 

I would check as many sources as possible. However you may as well just wait to throw it in until you're ready to regear
