Driveshaft Squeak?

I have a strange squeak that ive isolated to the rear driveshaft. I jacked up the rear end and spun the driveshaft, and when i turn it about halfway back and forth, it makes this strange squeaking sound. It is weird because the squeaking is coming from INSIDE the driveshaft. I can hear it when I accelerate so its pretty damn annoying. I am thinking the propellor shaft is worn, or something inside is dry.

Has anyone encountered this problem? I am going to be dropping the driveshaft out , but i am wondering if its worth it to fix it or just replace the entire shaft?
