This has been my favorit 4runner for a long time.

Just wondering if anyone has information about it, like who built it, and how its set up ect.

For example both front tie rods run to the inside of the frame rails, and i cant tell if they're running dual shocks or one shock and a limiting strap.

It appears they are running torsion bars, which would be sweet.

So, anyone know anything about this rig?

I remember emailing back and forth with Kreg at the time.

Its got dual shocks, remove res (this is just before bypass shocks were invented?)
YES - it has 4WD.
If I recall, its basically stock V6.
2WD trans.
Big honking and LONG chain drive for the 4WD part
The front drive shaft is "centered" in the truck and runs to a center mounted 3d member - yes - UNDER the oil pan)

 

Looks pretty convoluted
