Hey all. I have a line on a set of doors for a great price so I can make a set of half doors. Problem is I do not know if they will my 86 Runner. they are off an 84-85 truck. Not sure if it is a 4wd or 2wd truck they came off. Any help would be great!

 

10 min with a tape measure will answer this.

I believe the runner doors are a bit longer to allow people to get in the back (same as a x cab door) ..but dont go by that, I dont know for sure.

 

Hey Re-Re, how do you figure? If he truly doesn't know, he would have to measure the hinges, each dimension of the outside of the door, and somehow measure the contour of the outside of the door against his door.

84-88 + 89 4Runner doors are the same and ALL interchangeable 2wd or 4wd 4runner or pickup ...

I dont know...thats why I said I didnt know.

I know that 89-95 std cab, ex cab, and runner doors are all different sizes but hinges are all the same, thats what I was basing my answer off of.

 

All the two door yota doors are the same from 84-88 [89 on the runners] and 89 [90 on the runners]-95 the 4door fronts are shorter on the 90 and on models.

 

they are the same or they will work pick to 4runner. i had an 88 pickup i body swapped an 84 4runner body on and used the pickup doors fenders and hood. the doors got longer on the 2nd gen 4runner 2doors same as pickup and the 4door had doors that were not as long
