door question

Its simple. I need to replace the doors on my 90 p/u ext. cab and I found a guy on craigslist parting out a 91 4runner. I searched but couldnt find my answer. I just need to know if the doors are the same size and whatnot and if they will fit. Thank you ahead of time.

Yes correct...extra cabs are the same length as single cab pick ups or 2 door runners. Duallys and 4 door runners are interchangeable.

This is incorrect.

The dually trucks used the exact same cab as the Regular cabs, and as such used the exact same doors.

4 door 4Runner doors are interchangeable only with other 4 door 4Runners.

Btw, this topic has been covered several times before:

What are you talking about...how can a 4 door use the same cab as a 2 door? Single cab p/u doors are slightly longer than front dual cab doors...same goes for 2 door vs 4 door runners.

For the record I am actually running doors from a 4 door surf (4 runner) on my 89' dual cab pickup.

Maybe things are different outside aus?

We don't have double cab trucks in the US. We only got Regular and Extra cab trucks.

You said dually....which in the USA means Dual rear wheels. These were cab/chassis setups, and were all regular cabs. If you meant Double cab (in which case you should have said Double cab, not dually) then yes, you would be correct.

Gotta remember this website is based in America, where all the trucks are boring and IFS lol
