Wow....well I guess pink sorta lost the battle here...well, my offer still stands, so between me and space junk, you'll make a whopping 12 bucks for painting it pink! I say it's worth it.

its not that bad.. and by doing a RC paint job your already taking a shortcut

just get some 320 grit sand paper, some blue masking tape, and a case of spray paint.

i pull the tail lights and corner lights then tape off everything else.

sand it to your liking(just needs scuffed up) then wipe it down with a lil paint thinner on a towel, or just a damp towel.

heres a tip when painting, keep some space and just mist it on. it uses a lil more paint but keeps the tiger stripes and the runs to a minimal.

Since my daughter was about 5 years old she's talked about having a pink Toyota pick-up truck, but even SHE acknowledged at the time that as much as she likes pink, it would be wrong to do that to a yota truck.

Well, wouldn't it be better if it was smooth?

And, the original color is red, could I possibly take off the spray paint to the original red?

If not, I'll do a LOT of sanding LOL.

of course it would!

are you talking about where the camo is flaking off?

I'm not sure about restoring that red.

I'm telling ya its not that bad, RC is the easy way out.

try to do a real paint job, way more sanding/prepping etc.

you could always just rhino line it!

if he had 1200 bucks, that'd be a grand idea...

but if hes talking about rattle canning it from the get go, then the MOST he will be able to afford to get rhino lined will be his door handles...

No, I have enough for paint and supplies, not a REAL paint job. Its going to get beat to hell anyway, so I don't even know if I want to paint it

I've been looking into hurculining my 4runner white. It looks like it shouldn't cost over 400 max, but I need to do some research on white hurculiner before I get serious. Maybe they make pink hurculiner.

full herculiner kit with a gallon of the stuff and the roller, etc is 76 from walmart. pretty sure its a gallon anyway. i wouldnt recommend the duplicolor kit from advance. its only 44 but im not as impressed with it though it could just be because of the way i prepped my front floorboards.

and man, keep that girl... seriously. if i find a girl who will wrench with me i swear ill ask her to marry me.
