Update! Stage 2 complete:
Sanded and prep'd

2 coats primer, 3 coats tremclad (aka rustolium) gloss black

Installed, also did the window trim.

Another dark one:

Next step is the door handles, and the chrome conversion will be done
Also need to pick up clear corners and turn signals
Im having a heck of a time seating the window trim. I wish I wouldve left it in place and painted it on the truck. I can't for the life of me get the top corner peices and top flat rubber strip to stay flush against the body.
I don't need another rust catcher!!

Jay, I hit my chrome grill and lights over a year ago and I just sanded well, used an adhesive promoter, and hit with with Rustoleum semi-flat black, and it's held up really well. There's a few nicks, but it's held up well, and that's a lot of trail time.
I just need to finally get the chrome on my front bumper painted...

I love to ride! I live in the biking mecca of canada, with the most sought after location to ride in north america on my doorstep (whistler).
If you ever get up here, let me know. I would be happy to show you around

I got some orange peel in the mirrors, but that was my fault for spraying it on to heavy to get more gloss...Finish off that chrome!!
Haha, if your back ever gets itchy.......

Yeah I know. I actually wanted to know to see if theres a difference in parts prices up there. All I have really to resort to is ebay if I dont want to get bent over too bad. Just picked up some avid codes the other day. What kind of bike do you have?

I have a page on my cardomain about it ( page 10 I think).
Its a 06 norco A-Line frame built I built up. Pretty much a full downhill/freeride bike
Specs are on the domain page. I am hoping to upgrade my brakes to some juicy 5's or even 7's.
Ever since I got into trucks, I noticed how much bike parts cost. The amount my front fork cost me, I couldve ordered a SAS kit!
Last time I did any shopping in the us for bike parts, you guys were gettin the better deals. If the border charges werent as much as they were, I wouldve stuck to online shopping. But I like to support my local bike store.
