Ok I've about had it with aftermarket auto parts stores and their awful products.
My last truck was a '93 with a 22RE, replaced radiator that was in when I got it because it leaked, had to replace that one again under warrantee because it leaked, and again before I sold the truck.
My current '92 3VZ-E Xcab I bought, swapped out the bad motor, few months into driving it the already aftermarket rad starts leaking, so I replace it, now the new one is out of warrantee and leaking, and I'm furious. This is the 4th "new" radiator that I've installed that is leaking in under 5 years of owning this body style of truck. All of them leak at the gasket between the aluminum and plastic, and removing/peening the clips/reinstalling only seems to hold off more leakage for a short while. With quality control like this its no wonder the truck had a bad head gasket when I bought it.
Does anybody make a stock style drop-in for a 92 with a manual transmission (so I don't need a trans cooler), that is all-aluminum or copper? I figured I'd try before I spend a lot more dough for something requiring more fit-up from Summit. I've had enough of spending my hard earned money on wal-mart grade garbage.
