Distributor Question

Can the distributor really be off by a tooth if you can time it? I couldn't find an actual answer to this


I kinda screwed up and didn't mark where the distributor was

You mean you can't time it correct? And yes I have read lots of posts about being off a tooth but are you jumping the diagnostic port wires to do the timing??

Not too experienced on getting it back to the correct position though, I have seen lots of threads on this topic though give her a search and see what you come up with or I'm sure someone will chime in

Ok, I fixed it, used the trusty old straw in the cylinder 1 trick
