Displacement

Curious...my engine is now bored 30 over. I know the engine is now bigger than stock. It has little to no affect on performance and I know that. I'm just curious as to what size my engine is now. I know its still a 22re. But mostly because I want to say to my brother..."mines bigger" LOL.

Thanks

bore x stroke = displacement... look up the specs and figure it out...

2385cc up from 2366cc. I don't know much about boring, stroking for that matter, but that should up your compression a bit as well as having that extra 19cc's of air/ fuel. Not sure if that would make enough of a difference to notice. I think you're more likely to notice pinging under load. Maybe drop the timing back a couple degrees if that's the case, as you are loosing power when it pings as well as damaging the engine (over time).
