Differences between 3vz and 5vz?

I’m not looking for the obvious answers, I’m hoping to figure out if the ears (the brackets that mount on the lower end of the block just above the oil pan and bolts to the bellhousing with 14mm bolts) are the same between the two models as well as the plate that covers the flywheel, another question I have is the mount on the bottom part of the soft line coming off the fire wall, where the heck does it go? Pics will help, I just wonder if I leave that bracket off on the 3.4 swap, I just dunno where it goes

I think I can accurately state the first part is yes. I did a swap, and all the trans stuff was the same.
Not sure what 'soft line' you're talking about on part two. Clutch? fuel or vapor return?

The tabs are not the same. When I did my 3.4 swap, I had to use the 3.0 brackets because I was using the r150f trans from my 92.

so the parts I’m missing are on my 3.0? I’m missing those “ears” and the plate that covers the flywheel on the bottom of the bellhousing
