dif crossmember bolt torque

long time lurker, first post , original owner 92 std cab 4x4 dlx. thnks 2 yodatech timing chain oil pump ect. went perfect, dif drop oil pan removal , everything back together, no leaks, anyone know 4 crossmember bolt torque, thank you again thank you, p.s. all LCE parts , no problems

Just slam them in with an airgun. They have to be tight, torqueing them is really a waste.

thanks for feed back , taking it for alignment tomorrow, no air gun , right now they are at 80ft/lbs

I couldn't find a page in the service manual with those specific bolt torque settings shown, but if you can figure out the bolt size and strength rating, this manual page will give you standard torque values for bolts that aren't specifically called out in the FSM. Given the size of those bolts, I would figure somewhere around 80-90 ft-lbs would be close.

73 ft-lbs for the bolts to the frame and 96 lbs-f for the crossmember to diff. I did mine last october on my 93 p/u.

torque to 100, bolts did not break, took for alignment, done wrenching on the thing for awhile, thanks pic of my truck on post your pics
