Did i get the right valve cover gaskets???
went into advance auto today to get my cover gaskets and sealant..
the only two brands that popped up on the the screen were Fel-Pro and Beck/Arnley, and ive heard some bad things about the felpros for the 3.0 so i went with the beck/arnleys.... did i get the better pair? the beck/arnleys also come with a plenium gasket, all for 32 bucks...
hoping to get rid of the valve cover leaks this weekend.
any last minute advice to give?
thanks!

Personally, I use the Fel-pro and they work just fine. Fel-pro has been in the business for a long time, but I think the issues you're reading about are more related to the headgaskets....in which case, I can't vouch for those. I bought mine (and will continue to) from engnbldr.
As fas as the BA's, I'm sure they're just fine, too. Just use the RTV 'round the half-circles and torque it all down evenly.

32 bucks for valve covers????? for a set of valve cover gaskets and a camshaft gasket bundle, beck/arnley, i paid 8 bucks. sounds like you got ripped off, my friend.
