diagnostic ?

I have an 86 4 runner with the 22r efi non turbo. My problem is that I cant figure out where the connector is mounted to perform an ecm scan (to get a code). can anyone help me out. ive checked under the hood by the fuse block and look inside both kick panels and ive had the whole dash out. Does my truck even have a this feature.

If you have a cel you should have a check connector

You should have a sticker under the hood that will tell you where it is. I use a paper clip to short the circuit.

If it the same as my 86 I had 22r than I believe you only have the check connector and no diagnostic connector. It was right next to my fuse box on the driver side little green connector if I remember right, and I also use just a paper clip
