I've learned recently brand is not so much the key as is what the cable core is made of. Carbon cores will be cheaper, but don't send as good of a spark and don't last nearly as long as a wire core. You'd be happier....rather the vehicle would....with wire core. They do cost more intitially, but not in the long run. So, look at how the cables are made before you decide on brand.

BTW, OEM Denso....from what I understand...is a carbon core. Manufacturers cut production costs where they can.

well the dealer will mark up products pretty high. I got a NGK direct replacment o2 sensor for like 35 bucks. Every other auto store wanted 150+.

As for the wires, I havnt installed them yet. A friend had make a big order and I got him to buy me the wires. I have to make time to get up to his place and grab them. I will let you know if they make a big difference.

I can't recall ever seeing denso wires. although everything denso I've used is good.

factory wires are sumitomo, I believe. or maybe yazaki

NGK is very good as well.

Don't cheap out. get good parts.
