damage to number 4 and 5 spark plugs

Hopefully the jpeg attaches...

Changed spark plugs today. Apparently I've had the "good fortune" to have needed to remove other parts during previous spark plug changes, because it's a real pain with all the 3vze doohickeys still attached. Enough so that I thought "why the hell am I doing this?! I need to start shopping for a 3.4." It's just spark plugs for goodness' sake.

Anyway, the number 4 and number 5 plugs showed unusual damage. Hoping someone can diagnose?
