So first the good news, I hooked up my subs, really clean install and they work great! I'm just going to ratchet strap them to the roll bar since they won't be in during the summer.

And then the bad news. I drive home from my friends house where I installed the subs (1 block) and go to bed. Today I wake up and go to leave for work, only to find a big ol' puddle of antifreeze under my 4runner. I drive my dad's truck to work and when I get home it turns out that the leak is not coming from any hoses or connections. So I pull the radiator and find what I assume is the leak. Looks like I have a new radiator in my future! And a stranded 4runner for the time being.

the number of rows of fins in the radiator, the more fins the more cooling surface area.

Bump for a local guy! That's funny I was looking at your pictures and thought it looked like Oregon.

Nice 4Runner man. That thing is clean! Definitely paint that rear bumper. Stands out like a sore thumb. Maybe I'll see you around?

Alright guys, so the other day i got home from work to find this on my doorstep!

And so I was ready to install my new radiator and get the Runner going again.
I went out into the garage, opened the box, and said some choice words.

As you can see they sent me the aluminum/plastic radiator instead of the brass/copper one that I had ordered.
So I called up Techchoiceparts.com and asked what the deal was, the guy asked me if i really needed a
brass/copper one, So right then I told him would be sending this one back for a refund, and he didnt need to send me the correct radiator.
So now I have the right one on the way from somewhere else.
I would much prefer to buy one from napa, but they quoted me at $270 and i just can't afford that.

Cool

I need a new radiator too. Where did you get yours? How much? I'm in Eugene and after my radiator transplant I would be down for some wheeling.

Well Honestly it looks exactly the same as the one that I put a picture of earlier.
I ordered a brass/copper one from techchoiceparts.com for 132 with shipping.
They sent me the aluminum radiator on their site that would have been 110
with shipping. This made me really mad and their customer service is awful!
I have called them multiple times and the last time i finally got them to send me
a Return Materials Authorization so i can return it to them and get my money
back. So of course they have yet to send me that and i'm just really
frustrated. I went ahead and ordered another aluminum one from 1aauto.com
for 132 as well. Their customer service was excellent and I'm really happy with them.

Well, PhillyRunner, I have a brand new Aluminum Radiator in the box i would be willing to sell you for $100
haha providing you have a 22re. I think That'd be one of the cheapest prices i've seen.

Alright, it's been a long winter of nothing but highway travel. But I'm getting the 4runner ready for summer! In two days I will be getting my 33x1250x15 Km2's! I also have brand new pads and rotors in the mail. And what I am most excited for, besides the tires, are these!

They are the 4xInnovations tube doors with the kickout and quick release hinge kit. I will probably paint them black to match my truck.

And finally a couple pictures to show how the 4runner is doing and what i have been doing this winter!
