Crane + MSD=??

I usaully take the plug and play systems approach but Crane is dead for ordering their single channel trigger and since I already have the Hi-6s don't really want to buy a new MSD. So I instead ordered the 8910EIS tach adapter- does anyone have an idea how to wire this up? I tried the Hi-6s alone with their coil but the ecm didn't like it. The Crane is the inductive type rather than a CDI. Thanks 1990 4Runner, 22re
