Crack behind Cam Gear?

Hey there.

I have a 93 RWD truck and was adjusting valves today and noticed this crack behind the Cam Gear. How screwed am I? I have been chasing other little gremlins to get this truck tip top and have a bunch of other maintenance planned but wanted to see what should/can be done to address this newly found crack.

Appreciate any thoughts. I am just a backyard mechanic guy but I've been having "fun" fixing up this truck.

More light showing the crack from passenger side towards cam.

Guides and tensioner all seem good but was also wondering if this TDC is set right.

Doesn't look like an actual crack in the steel gear.
More likely a flaw/crack in the material the gear was molded in.
I don't think you have a problem there.

Thanks I am going to be under there again tomorrow and take a closer look. I had a few others on Reddit say the same thing. I hope I was overreacting when I saw it.
