coolant in throttle body

3.0 1995 4runner 1995 292,000 miles
coolant in throttle body, a lot. white smoke, barely runs. removed plugs and coolant came out of all cylinders. a lot. this car has been consuming a small amount of coolant for a while and i could not find the problem. always ran great, no skip, no coolant in the oil still. is this a throttle body or intake leak and how would i tell?

thanks to all who will respond.

ETA: the air duct tube going from the air cleaner to the throttle body was also full of coolant

HG fail - any bubbles in your radiator?
Milkshake?

Search on here for "headgasket" in the 86-95 Trucks & 4Runners section and you'll have hours of reading to do.

as stated in op, no coolant in oil, never seen a bubble in radiator, and i've googled and read everything i could find on the net including here and have not seen the issue of throttle body or intake addressed. yet there is coolant going to both areas. i'm having a hard time thinking that all 6 cyl suffered a hg leak at the same time instantaneously. mabey i'm not seeing something obvious. i'm searching for specific info for how to check the intake and throttle body for coolant loss if that is possible. thanks for your reply.

AAV - auxiliary air valve, or cold idle up valve. Coolant runs through it to close the cold idle air bypass when motor gets hot.

bypass the coolant lines that run into the throttle body.

Don't bypass the lines permanently, though.
