Coolant leak detectors

Any have any luck using a coolant leak detector? Do they work?

I'm looking at Mastercools 53351 which includes a UV detector and multiple adaptors and dyes, including coolant dye.

best thing i find is a cooling system pressurizer.. just pressurize the system and look for the leak.. green or red coolant is pretty easy to see

Yup. If you use toyota red coolant, you'll see a trail of pink fuzzies where the seepage comes from.

Pressure tester is your friend.

we have had good luck with the coolant dye in the shop when the pressure tester just wont show where its going, pressure tester is very effective though
