cool 4runner paint schemes

I have a chance to paint my 4runner with a friend who has all the gear. I would like to do something with a combo of colors.

Can people post pics of 4runners with cool paint schemes so i can get some ideas.

There was a cool orange and black pickup in a thread but now I can't find it.... but that is the idea.

Thanks in advance.

Is this the orange/black one you were talking about?

I think this is one of the nicest pickup's I've seen. However, I think that color might look kind of weird on a 4Runner, but maybe it'll work.

friend n I were talkn about this the other night, He's gonna paint his runner this weekend as well.

We were thinking, tan with the lower rocker panels painted black, probably herculined or something like that, then topper painted black.

should be interesting.

Thats funny b/c that is what I am leaning toward. Desert Tan (like the Hummer's military color) and then the bottom 6" black all around.. Then black out everything else.. no chrome. I am just not sure it will look good unless I stick some 35's on it

If you are gonna do Tan, Go with single stage paint, acrylic urethane. Cheaper and quicker. Let it dry and on the bottom I have seen people use bed liner spray or black rocker guard spray. But BC/CC you could spray on the black and tape it off spray the tan and the clear it all at one time.
