that'd only work if you replaced the headlights with cone filters.

AHAHA. That above post made my day. I'm considering a snorkel now seeing as how they're so easy to install.

Nope, my radio display in my first truck was broken and so I glued the dial to a classic rock station. Now my presets are 2 classic rock stations and one country. I don't think i've ever heard (and recognized) a Madonna song.

The cone filters allow a LOT more dirt into your engine, which will eat it up over time.

If you get any performance gains out of putting a cone filter on your intake it's only because either the stock air filter element was filthy or it's all in your head. Sucking up all of that hot engine heat will only decrease performance if it does anything at all. If you guys were running the intake out of the engine bay & then putting a cone on it I might see how you could claim a 1 or 2 hp gain. All those things do is to let a bunch of dirt into your intake. I seriously doubt if anyone can feel better performance simply by installing a cone filter, You may hear the extra intake noise & think your truck is faster but that's about it. This fits right in there with the ebay speed chip & the tornado fuel saver.
