Coil Spring lift on a 2nd gen. 4runner

i was wondering if anyone knew if there was springs available for a 4" lift from different vehicles? I mean can i take coils from a jeep and throw them on to lift the rear on my 4runner? Thanks

Or does anyone know if there are some pretty reasonable priced rear coils for a 4" lift? Probably a spring that provides 3.5" or 3.75" of lift from stock?

Front springs from an 80 series landcruiser.

Search on "cruiser coils"

NOTE: IMHO, the rear links are too short for that much lift. If you want to do it right, you really need to lengthen those links and possibly extend the wheelbase a little, otherwise it really wants to unload when you go downhill and gets really squatty uphill.

where would be the best place for longer links? Downey has some for just the uppers for $275, kind of expensive for me.

You're probably looking at custom - will require new mounts (ie - welding) anyways.

He wants the rear springs not the front. The front cuisers springs are for 3rd gens.

I've heard of some people using Aerostar Minivan rear coils. But I dunno about on the Toyotas, tho. I have the Downey's. They are good for about 1.5" over stock, maybe 2". It seems like much more compared to how low the back got with the saggin stock springs.
