None of the pickups ever had a 4wheel ABS option. You have to use your axle if you wish to retain ABS.

I would get new leaf mounts rather than trying to cut used ones off and end up with crooked junk. Suspension on a road driven vehicle generally needs to be pretty precise.

The axle housing from the 95 pickup will work fine if you use your third member with the ABS sensor. That would be the easy way. You could also your your current housing and buy aftermarker spring perches to weld on.

Either way you want to make sure you end up with the correct pinion angle but you knew that, didn't you?

He has 4 wheel ABS, which puts a sensor at every wheel. NOT just on the rear diff. So, as I stated, the axle housing from the Pickup will NOT work if he wishes to retain ABS
