Well my truck is throwing a Code 41 - TPS circuit fault.

What symptoms will this give me driving around?

Any ideas?

 

Sometimes a hesitation on accel, but this is mainly from erratic transmission shifting. Is yours an auto or 5 spd?

definately getting erratic shifting, but could it also cuase an overly rich condition and not much power? like a safe mode akin to a knock sensor code?

 

B Yota, the code 41 TPS is criticial to the ATM operation. PM me with exat year, engien and model, ie Tacoma etc and I can email you the info from the repair manual if you like. Include your email addy in the PM. If you PM me this wekeend and I dont get right back, its a motorcross race weekend with the grandson. So I will not be abl to check in till Saturday eve or Sunday eve. The race weekends are extremely hectic and busy for me.
