Clutch Valve Question

Hey all. Quick clutch valve question. I"m not sure if that is the right term for the part but it is the part that pushes the clutch fork. Anyway the rod is fully extended and I can't get the valve mounted to the trans because I can't push the rod back in. Anybody know how to do that?

You might want to thinK about this a little.

If you have pressure it needs to be released!!

open the line!!! most likely where it comes out of the Master Cylinder because with the slave cylinder loose I doubt you could get the bleeder loose.

When bolted in place the springs on the clutch plate push the slave cylinder rod back in.

Don`t forget to bleed the clutch when it is all in place and tight.:jessica::jessica:

Not sure if it will help, but I'm pretty sure you're talking about the clutch slave cylinder. Using that term may help you search.

I really though they just push back in. Is it hooked up hydraulically? You could loosen the bleeder screw on it to relieve pressure while you push it in.
