hey all, my new clutch went on me the other day, not 100% sure why but the thing still kick starts itself lol.

Any how my question is will a 91 truck clutch kit work for an 87 4runner??? My old man has a brand new one he'd give me was hopping to save some cash.

Truck is a DD, use it for camping, road trips and lite off roading.

The CKT-022 is the Aisin part number.

How are the kits different any how???
This could have been the issue because when I installed the first kit it was for an 87 runner but I put a different engine and transmission in it.

I put the heavy kit you sell on your site wabbit I had no clue 87 plus would call for a different kit.

How can I be sure which transmission I have???

 

CKT-022 is for 92-95 22REs IIRC and won't fit your 87.
