Clutch pedal noise
On my 86 Toyota truck 4x4 2.4 a new clutch kit was put in and now when I depress the clutch I have a whirring noise, especially when held to the floor.Sometimes it dosen't make noise. The fellow at the shop said a rod adjustment should fix it,comments, opinions please.

Usually noise from clutch when pedal is pressed is because of the throw out bearing. The bearings inside it go bad and when you step on the clutch pedal, it pushes the TOB against the Pressure plate and that's when the bad bearings start to turn. Therefore it makes noise.
Sounds like the clutch install didn't replace the TOB or damaged it.
