Clunk while backing up

So the last couple weeks i have really started noticing a clunk from the front suspension on the passenger side while backing up. It is not only a audible clunk, but you can feel it. Almost like something is moving in the suspension. Nothing while i am going foward, just while backing up. I don't think it is CV shaft related because it doesn't really matter whether i am backing straight up or turing. Only does it once and then it doesn't do it again. Any input would be apprieciated.

That really does sound like a CV shaft.

get under there and check for torque on your driveshaft fasteners and u-joint play. sounds like something's got too much slack which is only being taken up in reverse. does it happen just once when you go forward after reversing?

It doesn't sound like driveline slop everything in that regard seems fine. It sounds and feels almost like the lower control arm bracket moves when the I slightly turn the truck kinda twists. yes it does happen just when I am backing up. and not all the time either. somedays its 2 times in a day, sometimes it doesn't happen for a couple of weeks.

I have done the CV check where you crank it hard in either direction in 4wd and listen for clicks and pops. I have none of that. All that happens is the driveline starts binding up and the tires shimmy.
